I had a happy day with my two girls yesterday. Kesha and Cohen came over and we filled a play pool up with cold water and centered it in the 90 degree sun on my deck. Kesh and I were in and out of the pool while Cohen stayed in the shade and enjoyed the gentle breeze tickeling her face. It felt good to get some sunshine and fresh air.
At 5:00 pm I went for a walk at one of my favorite places. I was thinking it might be too hot to go, but went anyway. It was wonderful. The same gentle breeze that kept Cohen cool followed me through-out my walk while I enjoyed a huge field of wild white flowers while a little white butterfly danced along side of me until she decided to disappear into the field of flowers.
It is so fascinating how God has created every living thing to live in harmony. The little white butterfly was safe in the field of white flowers as she blended right in.
How joyful life is when we take time to count our blessings.
I enjoyed the heat yesterday with the refreshing cold water and the gentle breeze; but had to say a prayer for all the soldiers in Irac who are forced to be in the sweltering sun fighting so I can have the freedom to play.
When I keep thoughts of people who are suffering and are less fortunate than I, I can endure my own misfortune much easier.
I am blessed with the most beautiful children. I love my Ryder, and my Vin and Quinn and my girls Kesha and baby Cohen.
So thankful for them.
God bless!

Sometimes we take for granted all these things. But when we take time to look around, we can understand how fortunate we are.
