Dr. Oz Stomach Cancer and Risk Factors

Type in Dr. Oz Jan. 5, 2012...scroll down to 'Stomach Cancer Risk Factors.'

The whole article is educational and worth reading. It mentions other foods that may heighten the risk. Too much salt in general is not good.

I love my family so much, I can't help but preach to them 'how important a healthy diet is.'

I find it to be a lonely world when it comes to being a healthaholic.

Healthaholic

I finally found my blog...I had to navigate through the system to find it. I just wanted to write. I keep a hand written journal handy for impulsive thoughts and prayers, but it feels good to tap the keyboard.

I am obsessed with health! I can't get enough knowledge on this subject. I look at my body as a machine, and when it isn't running right, my whole world crashes. If I'm not feeling well, I can't help anyone else, or enjoy life to the fullest. Without health, we are helpless.

Last night I watched Dr. Oz. The subject was Stomach Cancer. It is on the rise. He had a special guest Dr. on the show who is an expert on Stomach Cancer. She said it comes from nitrites in cured meats. People who eat a steady diet of meats with nitrites will end up with cancer. She said our body can fight off the occasional hot dog at the baseball game...but not much more of the deadly stuff.

Please visit DoctorOz.com for the proof of the pudding. The date of the session is 1/5/12 on cancer.

All the fruits and veggies God created have a purpose for our bodies. Please don't elimanate any of them. Try to incorporate them in your diet daily. We need them to rescue us from cancer cells that are lurking to strike!

So...start 2012 with a cutie in the morning, [a tiny orange that is!]and a sweet potatoe for lunch, and a salad with fresh broccoli and raisins. How about grilled salmon or organic grilled chicken with lemon...yummy!

Toast to health and feeling better then ever in 2012!

God bless,
